After finishing career as a rhythmic gymnast more then 15 years ago , Andrea started with Pilates and Hatha yoga. In the beginning, it was occasional and mainly on physical level but over time as she continued to practice she discovered the change on other levels. Yoga, especially pranayama practice helped her a lot to gain concentration and focus she needed as a student of Pharmacy faculty. She continued to practice Hatha yoga by herself during two pregnancies and all the way until the birth yoga helped her deal with contractions and delivery.
Since joining Prana family, 4 years ago, she has been practicing Viynasa Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga, first with Masha Nedeva, authorized level 2 teacher by Krisha Patthabi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute from Mysore, from Russia, and now with Aida Ahmagić, Ashtanga teacher at PYS.
In May 2018 received 100 hours of teacher training with Isabella Pitaki of Premananda Yoga School from Brazil, which she will continue for the next 100hr.
Since November 2018 she leads Hatha yoga class.
She aims to provide yoga students with clear alignment instruction, practical adjustments and an inviting and safe yoga practice. By supporting students to stay right in the present moment and connected to their body and breathe is a path that Yoga will create more positive relationship with your body.
Andrea believes that Yoga is an ongoing journey that helps you come into a fuller expression of your true Self.
